highlights of life.

our fourth was great. we spent the weekend in west virginia. why? you may ask. my dad's family has a reunion every year on the fourth and we have not been in literally 13 years. logan makes five generations- so we thought it was due time to go and grab that photo because it only happens ever so often and is a rarity. the thought had crossed my mind when it was time to head back down the mountain to accidentally go the other way and make our way on up to the great NYC, but then reality hit and i was reminded that there was work to be done, LOTS AND LOTS of work.

last week i spent everyday at the house painting and painting and painting some more. now that the painting is done we are working on everything else. the hubs is laying floor this week and this weekend will mark the date of actually moving in. we will make the trail down the mountain, load up all our belongings and move them in. i cannot begin to describe how excited that i am to have my stuff back. i can't wait to show how much of a change we have made in such a short amount of time. the house has already done a 180. that's what we do though, we make things look great. we take a house and flip it. this one will probably be the nicest yet. our next goal once we get settled is to close in part of the basement for a family/game room with a big t.v. and pool table, etc... all the fun stuff. i can't wait to start on that project.
logan is changing so much everyday...his vocabulary is expanding and he is just so smart, so beautiful, such an awesome kid. he is the bestest little friend ever. i can't believe that i am going to have a two year old in no time flat- that's just crazy! i am looking so forward to fall- i know that summer just got here, but fall is calling my name. i am so ready for halloween- i'm already mulling over what logan will be this year, logan's birthday- of course if you know me i have been thinking and planning this for months already, lol. thanksgiving, the smell of the changing season, the cool air. it's probably my favorite time of the year.

i don't guess there is much more for me to report on because our noses have been stuck in the house just working. i wish i had more time to share simple everyday things with you, or just thoughts that i have, but for now i just have to hit the highlights, touch base, let you know we are still alive. i hope life is great where you are and you are enjoying everyday life. we are, that's a fact!

isn't he lovely....isn't he WONDERFUL!
