so, i am not at all the "queen of random"- i don't usually blog unless i have something specific to share, i want to change that and i am going to try hard to change that. there is (at times) a lot that happens in a day that i dont highlight because- all excuses aside, i just don't take the time. the little mr. changes everyday and evolves and i do want to share those things, because he is amazing and wonderful, all that and a bag of chips and every little thing that he does and says is just so darn cute – i just don’t do it- can i get a SLACKER. so i’m gonna be better, my goal is to inherit the throne and title of crystal: the queen of random. my how that has a certain ring to it, my name and queen in the same sentence- almost like it was meant to be, now if i could just find the time to simply sit on my throne and blog about all my random-osity…i think i’m catching on quiet nicely! this week has been on the verge of turning my human form into a block of ice. i walk outside and my bones freeze in my frame- not just at night, during the day, my friends. the cold is colder here, if that’s at all possible. i can’t imagine living somewhere where it’s in the negatives, like ALL THE TIME. however, i do love scarves, coats, sweaters, the whole nine- as cold as it has been those said objects don’t do much good- although i must say it does look pretty. the snow flurried down all this week like rain showers, only prettier to look at and more pleasant to be out in. me and my mom went christmas shopping earlier this week and with the snow falling it was like something out of the movies- it will definitely put you in the christmas-y spirit. i cannot believe how fast christmas is racing upon us- although, i am thrilled about it this year- more so than previous years, i guess because the kid is so excited about it all, but as i have stated we are big on the holidays! i mailed out our christmas cards today- thrilled with the way they turned out- it was a hard decision on which one to pick- but somebody had to do it. not only will i share our christmas card with you, i will share all three choices i had to choose from- but not until i’m sure everyone has received theres in the mail. next week with kick off the christmas extravanganza and i must say i am excited about opening some presents, lol- yes, i am such a kid at heart. now that we are older, most of the time we are involved in what we get for gifts- there are a couple of people who its all a complete surprise and that is my absolute favorite- i love surprises and not knowing it really does make me feel like a kid. i have the fondest memories from growing up anticipating all the gifts that we would receive, especially those from santa…just thinking about it gets me all giddy. santa visted Lo the last years, but this year- this year is really the start of it all, all the excitement, anticipation, joy- this year he has found his love for “hoho” and talks about the prizes that he will bring. christmas is magic, plain and simple and i am hoping for some more magic to fall and cover our christmas in white- that would be just perfect, darlings. this coming year is going to be quiet a big year for me. first of all it will be our five year (married life) anniversary…what to do, what to do??? yes, that is the question. i also turn twenty five years old this year- a quarter of a century- WHAT?!? kinda hard to believe- none the less it’s a big year for me (in my mind) and i plan to party like its 1999. with all that being said- we are trying to figure out how we want to celebrate it all. it has been discussed about a “silver themed” big party for the guest of honor (me)- travels have also been discussed. again, what to do, what to do??? there is just TOO much that we want to do, too many places we want to go. charleston? new york? disney world? i’m ready to go somewhere like NOW- but all is to be determined-it’s exciting to think about the possibilities and the planning is fun too. if you haven’t noticed (and if u have eyes you have) i made a couple little changes to my blog- i like clean and this is about as clean as you can get. i got tired of all the backgrounds- and it’s probably just a fluke mood but i had to roll with it. here’s hoping that your holidays are going beautifully and that you have loads to look forward to with the new coming year, 2011 (oh emm gee!)- how crazy is that…and as i said i’m going to do my darndest to do better at this whole blogging thing, although sometimes i don’t have a lot to say, i will still try to post if only a single thought, picture, video or favorite song of that day. and in closing i urge you to find magic in everything that surrounds you- christmas is magical- everything about it.
