Project Life Progress.

Before I get started meet my nifty new tool.
I got it last week and I love it.
It puts the rounded edges on all my pictures-
at least the ones I want rounded.
It makes the task so easy with one punch.
I'm so glad my hubby found it for me!

Picking up from where I left off in my last post. I got the journaling completed and that week completed as well, thus the reason I decided to kinda back track. April 1st-11th on these pages. (1) P.L. layout highlighting our daily routine, family portraits, our putt-putt adventure, my workout mis-hap and journaling. (2) P.L. layout highlighting our day to day life, the day we spent at the park, going "down the mountain" for an early celebration of my birthday and Easter. (a picture has been blacked out for privacy. I didn't want to share it with the entire blogger world, although it a picture I can't help but LOVE!) (3&4) I used a 6x12, 6 picture protector to include pictures of Lo painting my new art work.

April 10th-17th (1) I included some extras that I had of the finger painting art work that Lo did. Glued two together, punched holes to include them in my book. (2) P.L. layout highlighting our early Easter, outside play (i have a feeling there are going to be TONS of pictures like this- he would live outside if he could!), Shopping or RIDING in his car while shopping with momma and daddy and of course, more outside play! (3) (P.L. layout) our family picture with our garden, my "superman", outside play and the first day of my birthday week. (4) a 6x12, 6 picture protector with extra garden planting pictures continued on to the first picture on the next segment...(another picture has been blocked for privacy behind the 6x12 protector.) Of course, journaling, journaling about the days.

April 15th-17th. (1) 6x12 gardening continued. (2&3) I laminated a couple extra pictures that I loved and wanted included but didn't have the space for them- plus they are vertical and with laminating them they are made upright instead of sideways. (4) The back side of a 12x12, 12 picture protector of extra pictures from a couple weeks that I wanted to include in my book. You can kinda see the front side on picture two- again one picture has been blacked and blocked out.

April 18th-22nd. (1&2) I created something a little different that I wanted to include. In photoshop I made an 8x10 picture, with pictures of Lo, making it into "a conversation with Logan"- it has questions on it that we asked him with the answers that he gave for the questions. I just love this idea and will continue to do them as he gets older with different questions as well as the same to see how his answers will differ as time changes. I backed it with scrapbook cardstock after writing on the back some of the cute things that he says, laminated it, punched holes and included it in my book. (3&4) Again, I used a 6x12, 6 picture protector to include all the little birthday week things that my honey did or gave. I bet you can't tell that I love these little lovelies (I only include them every other page!) :)

April 19th-24th. (1) Daily life and adventures continued in the P.L. layout- along with journaling. (2) Birthday date with my hubby (such a great day), my birthday DAY (my sweet message), coloring Easter eggs and our Easter card. No journaling on this page- I used all the spaces with movie ticket stubs, a note that went along with my birthday message and my polaroids taken with my instax camera that I love so much. I will eventually include a long journaler for these days. (3) a close up of the polaroid included. :) (4) Laminated picture of myself and Lo- the back in continued in the next segment of pictures.

April 23rd. (1) The back of the laminated picture above. (2&3) I used a 6x12, 6 picture protector to include pictures of my birthday celebration. (4) I punched holes in my birthday cards and included them as keepsakes in my book.

April 24th. (1&2) I used a 12x12, 12 picture protector to include all the pictures of our Easter festivities, coloring eggs, hiding and hunting. (3&4) I used a 6x12, 6 picture protector to include more pictures hightlighting how we spent our Easter. (A long journaler will be used to journal about our day!)

April 24th cont... (1&2) I laminated a couple 4x6's of my pilot because they were a MUST to include. (3&4) our Easter craft- Lo painted this poster- I backed it with a sheet of scrapbook paper that I cut down to an 8.5x11 size- glued it on there and included a couple pictures of him painting it on the back- placed it in an 8.5x11 protector and included it in my book.
Until next time,
It looks fun! I'm so behind on my scrapbooking, it's no fun to do it alone and now that Mom is gone I don't have a scrapping buddy! And your hair is getting long fast - what's your secret?!!! Lol!
