the project life | and some learning.

i just recently came across something that i think has to be the best 'invention'- if you will, out there. it's called 'project life' and it is amazing, it was a must have, therefore i ordered it, yep- easiest purchase i ever did make (for myself). i am just ticked pink about it and cannot wait til it gets here *insert silly squeal here*. i am an easily excited person, but this is some serious excitement, lol. along with my uber excitement i am saddened with the thought that i didn't have it for previous years, but i will for 2011 and so on. now that i have went on and on about my excitement let me tell you a little bit about 'project life.' in short it's scrapbooking and journaling combined. it's designed to preserve life and all the memories of your simple day to day life- not just highlighting the major 'happenings'. each page will highlight every week, which i love because so much time passes and sometimes the little things are forgotten and now they will be held in this one book. it's so clean and organzied, which i lu-uvvvvv- and there is so much that can be done. i am so excited to get it and start on it- i am working on getting pictures printed from the beginning of the year up until now- that way i will be prepared when my package arrives. if you would like to see or are interested in project life for yourself just click the button to the left that says 'heart project life' and that will take you to the site. for an example of a completed book click here, she has a video flipping thru her entire 2010 book, it was then that i fell in love and knew i had to have it. i too, am excited to share my progress on my 'project life' book- coming soon.

and just for the heck of it i am sharing a few pictures of what i have been 'studying'- 'praciting' or 'learing' with my camera. it's fun stuff...and i am eager to continue the learnig.

(the first picture is actually three pictures placed together- which, by the way, was the only photoshop editing that was used. the hubby and i were in a completely dark room, except, of course, for the flash light that was used to draw this in the air. ah-mazing!!)

(this second picture is an example of high speed photography. it once upon a time was a balloon filled with water- which eventually was stuck with a pin- thus the rupture and water going everywhere including my super dedicated hubby who willingly got soaked in the process of trial and error. yea, he's a winner!)

(and lastly- number three. another example of high speed photography. i have always loved those water frozen in the air pictures and this is my first try at it, not bad if i do say so myself. and yes, that's a starburst (lol).
(you should have seen us closed off in the bathroom to do the last two in complete darkness, remote in one of my hands and the flash held in the other making sure i clicked the pilot button as soon as he pinned the balloon or threw the starburst. i love learning and so it must continue, i can't wait to try new things- nothing makes me feel more proud than accomplishing something that i have always longed to do.)
